Pop-up Positive News Feed

According to Nielsen, in March 2020, there were historic highs in media consumption. Reporting on the truth in unprecedented times is important, otherwise misinformation could lead to social irresponsibility. However, when browsing the BBC, New York Times, The Guardian, or other mass media news platform, the bad news seems to far outweigh the good.

In this time it became increasingly hard to find the coverage of inspiring people, voices and stories who uplift and made us feel a little less down in times of uncertainty, shock and unease.

This is why I decided to set up this Pop-up Positive News Feed. Across 2020, the feed shared a curation of the best positive news stories that could be read, listened to and watched.
