Across 2020 this platform became a weekly feed of uplifting stories, enterprising viewpoints and inspirational sources, providing an antidote to the persistent streams of negative news.
If you would like to work together in future collaborations and co-created projects say hello.
According to Nielsen, in March 2020 there were historic highs in media consumption. Reporting on the truth in unprecedented times is important, otherwise misinformation could lead to social irresponsibility.
However, when browsing BBC news, New York Times, The Guardian, or every other mass media news platform, the bad news seems to far outweigh the good.
It has become an increasingly hard task to find the coverage of inspiring people, voices and stories who uplift us and make us feel a little less down in times of uncertainty, shock and unease.
This is why I decided to set up this Pop-up Positive News Feed. Originally starting as a three month pop-up project, this feed shared a curation of the best positive news stories across 2020, stories that could be read, listened to and watched.
